What is new on Ovi?

You can now create your own personal page on Ovi which is visible only to yourself. If you already have a Nokia account you can sign in, otherwise register and create one, it’s free! Once you have signed in, you can choose what feeds and links are displayed on your own 'My News' page by adding and/or deleting items. You can also change the order and the number of headlines to be displayed for each feed by clicking the Personalise link.

How does Ovi work?

You can choose to just read articles and search the best of the Mobile Internet. However if you choose to register, you will get more. You can create your own homepage by selecting the best feeds and links and deleting the items you do not want. All you need to do is find feeds and links under the 'More' tab and click the link add. This will make them visible on your 'My News' page.

What are the options Hot, Recent and Popular?

Hot displays items other users have found great. You can affect the order of items in Hot by ranking the content on the Info page of the particular content.
Recent displays the most recently added content items on the site.
Popular orders content by usage. Here you find the content most viewed by our users.

How much does your service cost?

Ovi is free to use. However, your mobile operator will charge you for any data you download. To minimize these costs, we have built Ovi to be very small in size.

How can I add stuff?

Go to the Add Content box, type the address of the site you want to add, then add a title and description for the content and click Add!

Can other users enjoy the items I have added?

Yes. All the links and feeds you add are shared with the community and are can be seen and used by other users of the site. For details on our Privacy Policy, please click here.

What do the different symbols next to links mean?

A RSS/Atom feed – contains frequently updated headlines and articles.

A bookmark to a site.

How often are the feeds updated?

This varies depending on the update history of the feed (every 30 minutes for popular feeds).
